MBABANE:The Management of the Eswatini National Provident Fund(ENPF) has postponed the Annual Stakeholder Forum amid tension within the Governing Board.
This comes after this Swaziland News reported earlier on Thursday morning that, some Board members decided to snub meetings pending the removal of Board Chairman Derrick Shiba, the Governing Board members are accusing Shiba of advancing the interests of Inyatsi Group, he denied these allegations when speaking to this publication.
Efforts to reach ENPF CEO Futhie Tembe proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
But an ENPF senior Manager told publication that, the Forum has been postponed indefinitely.
“The Stakeholder Forum was supposed to be held tomorrow(5th December 2025) and the meeting has been postponed indefinitely.The Forum is normally a major engagement platform bringing together; employers’ federation, workers’ federation, Government representatives and other key stakeholders in the social security sector and the media. Its purpose is to update stakeholders on ENPF operations, reforms, and governance issues, and to maintain transparency and cooperation. The event has been postponed indefinitely,” said the senior Manager.
