MBABANE:Tokky Hou, the Far East Textile Managing Director has won the Africa Women Manufacturer of the Year Award at the Pan African Women Empowerment Summit(PAWES2025).
In a statement released on Wednesday evening, Commerce, Industry and Trade Minister Mancoba Khumalo congratulated the Far East Textiles Managing Director for this achievement.
“This recognition is a testament not only to Ms. Hou’s exceptional leadership and business acumen, but also to the dedication, resilience, and commitment to the nearly 600-strong workforce at Far East Textiles, 98% of whom are women,” reads the statement in part.
The Commerce, Industry and Trade Minister further expressed Government’s commitment to fostering an enabling environment for enterprises such as Far East Textiles to thrive, expand, and contribute meaningfully to job creation and sustainable development.
